What is
Domiciliary Care?
Domiciliary care is also known as home care. It does what it says on the tin!
Home care is provided by suitably trained home carers to support adults in the community to remain as independent as possible. That means we can provide a host of supportive measures so you or your loved one can remain in the familiar surroundings of home.
Our home care is person-centred, so we don’t do anything to you, but instead we work with you. Call us today and let us know how we can partner with you and we will provide excellent care and support.
Housework
Support with housework (cleaning, vacuuming, washing, ironing, changing bed covers), and dog-walking.
Food Preparation
Support with meal planning, food preparation and cooking meals.
Companionship
Companionship care, including taking you shopping, to appointments, to social events and any other companionship need.
Other Forms of Care
Or more specific care in the form of, washing, dressing, assistance with eating and drinking, assistance moving around with the use of aids (hoists, walking frame etc).
You or a family member may require one, some, or all of the following:
Waking Night
We only provide Waking Night services, as we feel it’s safer and only fair that you know someone is awake and looking after your loved one whilst you rest and sleep securely.
The carer will be on duty throughout the night and is the best support option if you wake at regular intervals and need support or medication.
