Agency Care
& Recruitment
Excellent recruitment practices are key to our success.
This is aimed at experienced nurses and carers who want to work flexibly to meet the needs of their lifestyle and family commitments. So, if you want to work one day per week or 6 days per week, we can help you.
The placements are predominantly in nursing/residential homes across the Wirral and Liverpool. We aim to ensure you have regular hours and continuity of placements.
Some staff work exclusively at Crystal Care, whilst others have a permanent job and use Agency to top up their wages. The choice is yours!
We are rigorous,
& only engage staff
who have:

Provided professional and character references which have been verified by us.

Training
At Crystal Care we want you to develop and increase your knowledge as this will make you a better carer for vulnerable adults and enhance your career prospects going forward.
Dr Louise May offers one-to-one career coaching to support you to reach your full potential. We have had more than 20 staff successfully from Carer to Qualified Nurses with local universities, and nationwide!
Dr Louise May also offers support with revalidation through monthly supervision with all qualified nurses. During these confidential sessions, she guides nurses through the reflective cycle regarding incidents that have happened to them.
Firstly, you will need to complete all our online mandatory training (18 modules all certificated). This can be done remotely from home, or alternatively at a laptop in our office in Birkenhead with support from the office staff.
This initial training will be undertaken whilst we wait for your references and DBS, and when completed will be added to your personal profile. During induction we will invite you to a face-to-face training session on Manual Handling (certificated).
We offer further training throughout your time with us including: Leadership & Management, syringe pumps, peg feeding, react to red, dealing with falls, Oliver McGowan training, Level 2 and Level 3.
